Mentors and Doctors

Writer's picture: Ajit SinhaAjit Sinha

The most important and critical professionals in the fight against COVID-19 were doctors. Did they get stressed? They did. Were they in need of support from any source? Most of us will answer yes to that question. Was it guidance, encouragement or solving questions in their mind? Could be any of these or more. This brings me to mentoring. Across all professions, mentoring is an important tool for talent growth, an answer to curiosity and development of skill. It is a relationship which is mutually beneficial between two individuals, based on trust, with respect for each other typically offering both professional and personal advantages for both parties involved. Mentoring is a unique combination of coaching, training, consulting and much more. Here is a window in the world of Doctors too.
